Ragas Suha and Sugharai illustrated
Ragas Suha and Sugharai are both types of Kanada, however, the suffix Kanada is
rarely used. As per Raga Samaya Chakra their GaanSamaya is second quarter of the
day. Hardly any concerts cover that time span, and varieties of Sarang andDhanashridominate
that time period, hence they are rarely presented. Both belong to KafiThata (Melakarta
No.22 Kharaharapriya).
